Black History Month-It's More than Just History
The month of February is set aside to celebrate black history, however, Black History Month is about more than just history. Stop by the library to see books, magazines, and DVDs about black people from the United States and around the world who have done and continue to do amazing things in the fields of medicine, business, culinary arts, politics, and the performing arts.
To learn even more about Black History month visit the library's Facebook page throughout the month of February. Each day the library will post a question, Jeopardy-style, about a famous African American. The next day, the name of the person will be revealed and a new question posted.
