Alice Waters & Chez Panisse: The Romantic, Impractical, OftenEccentric, Ultimately Brilliant Making of a Food Revolution by Thomas
McNamee
Alice
Waters opened her restaurant Chez Panisse in the early 1970s, and she incorporated
local and organic foods into her menu. Using these products was a bit unheard
of at the time, which is why the subtitle of the book references Ms. Waters starting
a food revolution.
