A Quick Two-Minutes, a Blanket of Roses, and My Old Kentucky Home


Whether you call it, “The First Saturday in May,” “The Run for the Roses,” “The First Leg of the Triple Crown,” or “The Derby,” this Saturday, May 3, the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby will take place at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. 

Sullivan University’s own Event Management students have created a Derby celebration for this campus, and the library suggests the following library materials to go along with today's festivities. Any of these items may be borrowed from the library; just ask one of the librarians to help you.
